Well, goddamn. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since he'd stopped touring due to ill health. But still...one of the greats is unexpectedly gone. That always sucks. Rest in piece, RL.

On R.L. - You might be interested to know that his little ditty that they use for the credits in The Sopranos is used on a popular radio talk show in Milwaukee...okay, that's not all that interesting, but it is kind of funny how music filters through the bloodstream of society in unexpected ways. Otherwise, I might never have known of the man.
