I like Wolfmother's record, but this is definitely a band that is superior live. And I like that they played the "hits" ("Dimension" and "Woman") early, rather than milking their absence for an encore. And they closed their main set with a great version of my personal favorite WM song, "Mind's Eye." Thanks again for the invite!

And on Sunday I went to see one of Wolfmother's Australian rock & roll antecedents, Radio Birdman. Those guys are all in their 50s, but rocked just as much ass as Wolfmother.
Let's see...Birdman, Wolfmother, the Beasts of Bourbon made a kickass comeback, You Am I remain brilliant, the Saints are still around, the Scientists recently resurrected themselves...must be something in the water down under.
