Woke up 11 minutes early and immediately began, as usual, to ascertain whether I had that awful hangover feeling. Not too bad today.

Working in the darkroom of a small-town New Mexico newspaper. I was...14, maybe?

1969 Volkswagen Beetle. If I auto-mechanically minded and it had air-conditioning, I'd own it still.
