She was my supervisor when I worked in the traffic department at KLRU. I've just learned that she passed away Thursday morning.
I liked Sandy a lot, and though we didn't stay in touch like I intended, I was always glad to get news that she was out there somewhere, living her life and giving the rest of the world hell. I'll never forget her.

This is what I get for not getting online more often. Here I was, prattling away about ME, when you were going through this.
I am truly sorry for your loss, BB.
Oh, thank you. I liked Sandy, but she was, at best, a difficult personality. I do wish we'd stayed in touch.
Funny, she was one of the first instances in which I realized that I had some knack for getting along with folks who rub some other folks the wrong way.
I'm told she was pretty happy the last few years.
Her "difficult personality" had peaked by the last time I saw her. But I'll always owe her - she's the one who hired me at KLRU and I wouldn't be where I am now without her. So for that, I salute her.
